- 7FAQ — 360 / 500 Hz esports monitors
Looking for the best 360 Hz monitor or a 500 Hz display for esports in 2026 — CS2, Valorant, sometimes Fortnite. This is not a lab ranking. It is a DropReference catalog shortlist in three tiers: 1080p IPS 420–520 Hz, 610 Hz TN for pure competitive play, then 1440p QD-OLED at 360 Hz and 500 Hz. Prices below are live DRAAS figures for October 6, 2026 — we never invent a number.

SERP leaders already cover refresh rates and panel types. The gap: almost nobody says which graphics card actually holds 360 or 500 FPS in CS2 / Valorant. We add that section with dated sources (NVIDIA via TechPowerUp, Sep 28, 2023; TechSpot on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D). DropReference has a Benchmarks hub (125+ games); we did not find a published CS2/Valorant GPU table for these Hz tiers to reuse here — so we cite the press, never invent FPS.
- Fast IPS 1080p: esports entry ticket, decent colors, high Hz without paying for QD-OLED.
- 610 Hz TN: maximum motion clarity, weaker angles/colors — the “pro CS” compromise.
- 1440p QD-OLED: 360 Hz is already elite; 500 Hz only if your PC can feed it. Contrast/HDR are in another league — see our OLED gaming guide.
