Crimson Desert: these 2 items are completely broken (King's Dagger + Lightning Necklace)

No need to farm for 40 hours or beat an end-game boss. These two items are hidden behind secret passages and an accessible mini-boss, but most players completely overlook them. We'll show you exactly where to find them and why they're worth checking out.

Management Totem field , a small enemy camp located just north of the main city of Pailune (locate yourself with the letter N on the map). It's an area that you can come across quite early in your progression, but that many players pass through without stopping.

Descend the ladder that appears. At the bottom, you come across a small underground bunker with a treasure chest. Open it, and boom: the King's Dagger is yours.

By default, the King's Dagger comes with already solid stats:

• Attack : 16 (increases to 30 once fully refined)
• Critical rate : Level 5 (upgrades to level 9 at max refinement)
• Attack speed : Level 1
• Refinement : Basic Level 3
• Passive : 10% chance to recover additional leather

Level 9 in crit, 30 in attack. For a dagger, this is completely disproportionate. But the real interest of this weapon is not necessarily to keep it in the main hand — it's the boost global stats that it brings to your build. With such a high critical rate and such strong refinement bonuses, the King's Dagger takes your character up a notch. And the additional leather bonus is the cherry on top: you farm monsters and harvest more materials along the way.

For this one, you will have to fight a little. Go to the Eastern Court (Eastern Court), an area located to the east of Demeniss , to the southeast of the Golden Plains. If this is your first visit, you will have to clean the area of all its enemies before the boss shows up.

The Full Moon Reaper lands in the main courtyard once you have eliminated the minions. Honestly, nothing to panic about. This boss is accessible even with average gear - he hits properly but his patterns are readable. Manage your dodges, punish between his combos, and it's done.

Once the area is cleaned, enter the mansion located in the courtyard. Inside, take the first door on the left Then, look under the stairs — there is a tapestry hiding a passage leading to the basement. Go down the ladder.

At the bottom, you will find a safe (strongbox) with a dial mechanism. The principle: turn the dial to the right until you hear a click or feel a vibration, then to the left, and repeat. Once unlocked, the Lightning Necklace is yours.

The necklace arrives with stats that look modest on paper:

• Attack : +2 (increases to +5 at max refinement)
• Critical rate : Level 1 (upgrades to level 4 at max refinement)

+2 in attack, level 1 in crit — said like this, it doesn't sound like much. But in Crimson Desert, accessories stack their bonuses on your entire build. Each additional point of crit, each additional point of attack, adds up with the rest of your equipment. And the Lightning Necklace, once refined, goes up to 5 in attack and level 4 in crit — making it one of the best necklaces in the game at this stage of progression.

Getting it back early gives you a concrete advantage over everything that follows. Your DPS goes up, your crits fall more often, and boss fights become much more manageable.

Taken separately, the King's Dagger and the Lightning Necklace are already very good items. Combined, it's a different story. You stack crit rate from two different sources — the dagger goes up to level 9 and the necklace adds level 4. Result: your critical hits rain down, your DPS explodes, and you melt boss HP much faster than with traditional equipment.

The combo is even stronger as these two items are accessible relatively early. You don't need to be in the endgame to get them. The Totemfeld camp in Pailune is playable from mid-game, and the Full Moon Reaper is not an insurmountable wall.
