- 6FAQ — Mini-ITX, SFF and these three cases
You are looking for the best Mini-ITX case of 2026 and three names come up everywhere: Cooler Master NR200P, Fractal Design Terra and Lian Li A4-H2O. This is not a lab podium. It is a DropReference catalog shortlist: four EAN pages, the clearances the manufacturers publish, and the USD price on 4 October 2026 — converted from the euro offers at the ECB euro reference rate of 2 October 2026, 1 EUR = 1.1225 USD, rounded to the nearest dollar. The ECB does not publish a fixing on Sunday 4 October 2026 — or no offer, when there isn’t one.

An SFF case in 2026 is judged first by what does not fit. A Mini-ITX motherboard (17 × 17 cm), an SFX or SFX-L power supply, GPU length, tower-cooler height, and the real thickness of an AIO (radiator plus fans). Litres do not tell you whether a triple-slot card goes in.
- GPU: max length, thickness (slots) and power connector. An official “322 mm” shrinks as soon as a 120 mm radiator shares the chamber.
- CPU: a big tower cooler, or a low-profile, or an AIO. On the Terra and the A4-H2O those choices collide.
- Airflow: mesh and a path for fresh air, not just “small so it must be hot”. Tempered glass or closed aluminium change noise and dust.
- Build: removable panels (NR200P) versus a sandwich layout plus riser (A4-H2O, Terra). The riser has a PCIe generation: the BIOS has to follow.
Mainstream roundups often mix the NR200P (this page), the NR200P V2 and the NR200P Max (280 mm AIO plus a power supply already in the box, a different bill). Here we mean the catalog NR200P White, not the Max bundle.
