Even for a Full HD playable experience, it is advisable to avoid older GPUs that are too outdated: the GTX 16xx or RX 500 are clearly below the recommended levels today. Modern mid-range cards are the best entry point.
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 / RTX 5050 — good minimum for 1080p, especially if you stay at medium graphics.
- AMD Radeon RX 7600 — AMD mid-range equivalent with 8GB of VRAM.
These GPUs now allow recent AAA games to run at 1080p with a good compromise between visual quality and smoothness. For GTA 6, they should be the reasonable minimum to avoid significant FPS drops and stuttering.
If you have an older card (RTX 3060, RX 6600 XT, etc.), the game may run, but probably with significant graphical compromises.
