Infinite gold in Crimson Desert, without cheating (or almost)

Since the release of Crimson Desert on March 19, 2026, players have been looking for the fastest method to accumulate silver. And there, we found something quite crazy: a spot where you can pickpocket gold ingots from nobles , over and over again, in a loop. No hack, no cheat engine. It's just a game mechanic combined with a well-placed zone reset.

The spot in question? The Demise Wildlife Park , an animal park in a medium difficulty area. The place is full of noble visitors with well-filled pockets. And right next to it, an Abyss Nexus to reset the area in two seconds. In short, it's the perfect combo.

A gold ingot is resold 190 silver at a traditional merchant, or you can deposit it at Hernand's bank for 150 silver and invest it to potentially earn even more. With 2 to 3 ingots per run of a few minutes, it adds up quickly.

What you need before starting

Good news: this method is available very early in the game. You just need two things.

Firstly, a mask . You get one fairly early in the adventure. No mask, no pickpocket - the game blocks you. Secondly, you need to have access to the world map Once you have unlocked it (after the tutorial), you can go directly to the spot.

Heading to the Demise Wildlife Park . It's a wild habitat, a medium difficulty area. Yes, the path to get there can be dangerous - aggressive mobs hang around the area. But the park itself is peaceful. No fighting inside. You run, dodge the mobs on the way, and once in the park, it's peace.

The first thing to do upon arrival: activate the Abyss Nexus just at the entrance. It's your teleportation point. You'll need it to reset the area for each run. Then use Nature's Grasp to open the portal that gives access to the park.

How to pickpocket nobles (step by step)

Once in the park, take out your lantern . It is she who allows you to scan the NPCs around you. By walking her on the noble visitors, you will see what they have in their pockets. Three possible cases:

  • A gold ingot — it's the jackpot, go for it
  • A parts pouch — not great, forget it
  • A key — no interest, move on to the next

You only aim for the ingots. When you spot one, run towards the noble and crash into him. At the moment of impact, press on Square (PS5) or X (Xbox) — the loot button. The character will automatically search the pockets.

Warning: even if the noble has a visible ingot on the lantern, you don't necessarily catch it on the first try. Sometimes you get a jade, wine, or another random object. Don't panic. The ingot is still there in his pockets - try again. Usually, after 2 to 3 attempts, he drops the gold bar.

As soon as you retrieve the ingot, flee immediately . A red circle appears on the ground: this is the detection zone. You must exit before the NPCs catch you. The circle expands with each successive flight (reaching its max on the 3rd), so plan your escape route. Once out of the zone, you are safe.

And if you don't feel like bothering with the pickpocket? You can also kill the nobles directly and loot the ingot from their corpse. It's less subtle, but it works. However, expect a bounty on your head.

The infinite reset: how to loop the farm

Where this method really becomes abusive is the reset. Once you have completed your run in the park — whether you have collected 1, 2, or 3 ingots — all you have to do is teleport to the Abyss Nexus that you activated at the beginning. And boom: all NPCs are reset. New visitors, new pockets, new potential ingots.

The cycle is simple:

  1. Teleport yourself to the Abyss Nexus
  2. Enter the park via Nature's Grasp
  3. Scan the nobles with the lantern
  4. Pickpocket those who have ingots
  5. Return to the Nexus and start over

Each run takes between 3 and 5 minutes depending on your efficiency and luck. Sometimes you find 3 ingots in one go. Other times, you come up empty and have to reset. It's random, but in the long run, it's much more enjoyable than the tower method that many players used before.

One thing to note: the park employees never wear ingots Focus only on the noble visitors - those with rich clothing. Employees, even scanned thoroughly, are not interesting.

Sell or invest: what to do with your ingots

You have pockets full of gold bars. Now, two options.

The simplest: sell your ingots to a merchant for 190 silver coins. Direct, no hassle. It's the safe method if you want quick cash to buy equipment or consumables.

The most profitable (but risky): deposit the ingots at Hernand's bank For that, you first need to register a strong box with the banker. Once your ingots are deposited, you can invest them. The return is random — sometimes you win big, sometimes you lose.

And there, there is a trick of a big rat that the community has found: you backups just before the end of the investment period , you look at the result, and if it's bad, you reload your save. This allows you to reroll until you get a good output. It's a bit of save scum, but it works.

Tips to optimize your farm

After a few hours of farming, here's what we've learned to go faster.

Ignore traditional scholarships. Now that you know that nobles can carry ingots, it's not worth pickpocketing simple coin purses anymore. The time/gain ratio is too poor.

Focus on clusters. Some areas of the park have groups of 4-5 nobles close to each other. That's where you want to spend your time. Quickly scan the entire group and move on to the next if no one has a gold bar.

The nobles in long robes are harder to scan. Their clothes that are lying around sometimes hide the lantern icon. Look carefully, turn around if necessary.

If you get caught, don't panic. Head towards Hernand's church. You speak to the priest and wash away your sins. Your bonus disappears. It's free and without consequence.

And one small detail that several players have noticed: the crocodile that is supposed to patrol in a lower part of the park seems to be missing from the game for some players. Bug or feature, we do not know. But if you do not see it, take the opportunity to explore the entire area without stress.

Can this method be patched?

Honestly, that's the big question. The pickpocket itself is a mechanic intended by Pearl Abyss. The reset via the Abyss Nexus as well. The fact that nobles carry ingots, same. Technically, everything is "as intended". What's a bit broken is the combination of the three — the fact that you can loop indefinitely without any downside.

For now (end of March 2026), the method still works after the latest patches. But Pearl Abyss could very well adjust the spawn rate of ingots, lengthen the Nexus cooldown, or simply remove the gold bars from the pockets of the nobles in this area. If you want to farm, do it now rather than in two weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the gold bar glitch work on PS5 and Xbox?

Yes, the method works on all platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The pickpocket button changes (Square on PS5, X on Xbox, configurable key on PC), but the operation is identical.

How much silver per hour with this method?

It varies quite a bit depending on luck. On average, expect 2-3 ingots per run of 3-5 minutes. At 190 silver per ingot, that's about 2,000 to 3,000 silver per hour in a good run. It's not millions per hour, but it's consistent and accessible very early in the game.

Do I risk a ban by using this method?

No. Pickpocket and zone reset are normal game mechanics. You do not use any third-party software, no file manipulation. It's pure farming, with the tools the game gives you. Pearl Abyss could nerf the spot, but you don't risk anything in terms of bans.

Are there any other pickpocket spots for ingots?

The Demise Wildlife Park is the best spot known to date thanks to the density of nobles and the proximity of the Abyss Nexus. Other places with nobles exist in the game, but none offer such a fast reset. If you know of an equivalent or better spot, the community is interested.

Should we sell the ingots or invest them in the bank?

If you want guaranteed and immediate silver, sell at 190 silver. If you are willing to save scum to optimize, banking investment can yield more in the long term. The choice depends on your patience and tolerance for save file rerolls.
