Information
- •These laptops are mainly designed to stay on a desk, with the possibility of moving them occasionally. However, if you plan to use them for classes or work, we do not recommend them: they are not very practical to carry on a daily basis.
Pros
- •The graphics card will handle all recent games at 1440p with good graphics. However, you may be limited if you want to play in 4K.
- •RAM that is more than sufficient for all types of use (streaming, video editing, large AAA games, creation, etc.). RAM will not be a limiting factor for anything you want to do, if you have the budget, go for it!!
- •With this storage capacity, you are free as a bird for quite a while! Personally, this is what we choose for our laptops (no less than 1TB) and we NEVER regret it!!
- •With this refresh rate on this screen, it's clearly meant for competitive play in super dynamic games (CS-GO, Valorant, ...). If you're a casual player, you might not notice the difference compared to 144 / 165 Hz, so it might be more interesting to go for lower refresh rates to save money.
- •This is originally a desktop PC processor but adapted for laptops. Its performance is therefore better, making it suitable for intense gaming and/or heavy creation. However, it will generate more heat, so a good chassis is necessary to ensure optimal cooling!
- •The cream of the crop in terms of processors (i9 or r9). Overall, in terms of range, you won't find better. They have maximum power that adapts very well for ultra-demanding gaming and heavy creation! Many say it's overkill for gaming, we tend to agree, but if you have the budget, why deny yourself?!
- •This is the latest generation released by Intel in late 2024 and early 2025 (it's referred to as the 15th generation, but Intel has changed the naming convention). The performance is the best from Intel, but this generation has been controversial because the price gap compared to the 14th is too significant relative to the performance difference. It is recommended if you find good prices, as it remains the top from Intel!
Cons
- •Generally, prices are very high, with nice design and good quality but not worth the prices. It's really an excellent choice if you have a promotion; otherwise, you can get better quality for less!
