Information
- •Water cooling is particularly useful for high-end processors like Intel i7/i9 or Ryzen 7/9, which can heat up significantly under load. For less powerful models, a good air cooler is sufficient, unless you are looking for maximum silence or a sleek look.
Pros
- •This brand is highly regarded for the quality of its cooling. DropReference highly recommends it, especially if your setup tends to heat up quickly.
- •This brand is well-known for the quietness of its cooling systems. If noise is an important factor for you while gaming, go for it: you won't be disappointed.

The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 280 A-RGB is one of the best 280 mm AIOs available on the market in 2025, especially for those looking for excellent value for money. Its aggressive cooling performance, useful VRM fan and attractive price make it a must-have choice. However, installation can be a little more tedious than with the competition, and it's important to check compatibility with your case and motherboard due to the size of the radiator and pump block. If you don't mind the noise at full throttle, and are prepared to invest a little time in installation, this is an excellent investment.
