- •We now recommend using DDR5 for all new builds. It is stable and prices are now reasonable.
Pros
- •This RAM has overclocking capabilities that can boost your performance (not by much, but it's still something). However, you need a motherboard that allows you to unlock EXPO or XMP.
Cons
- •For a DDR4, the frequency of this RAM is very low and will not allow for good gaming conditions. DropReference does not recommend this RAM for gaming.
- •Warning, unless it's a replacement, it is very rare to buy a single RAM as to take advantage of dual channel, you need either 2 or 4 RAMs in a configuration.
