Product rating
Information
- •We now recommend using DDR5 for all new builds. It is stable and prices are now reasonable.
- •If you are building a new setup, it is better to get RAM in pairs or sets of four. The RAM will therefore operate in pairs, and memory management will be highly optimized.
Pros
- •2 x 8 GB is the classic for gaming and will run all games quite well! If you want to go bigger, you can aim for 32 GB still in dual channel (2x16GB)
Cons
- •For a DDR4, the frequency of this RAM is very low and will not allow for good gaming conditions. DropReference does not recommend this RAM for gaming.
