Perhaps not as powerful as the Ryzen X3D processors for certain games, but still a great performer. The Ryzen 5 is more than sufficient for most games, so the 7 will do the job without worry. Make sure it's properly cooled (a decent AIO 240 or Peerless Assassin?), as it heats up nicely when put through its paces, Zen 5 or not...
