Information
- •Rather classic size for a gaming laptop. It allows for reasonable cooling and thus prevents your PC from lagging when you play.
Pros
- •Lenovo is a very good brand that we highly recommend! Whether it's Legion for gaming or even office PCs, they are very present in the laptop market and the quality is outstanding.
- •This processor offers a good balance of performance and price (i5 or r5). Perfect for advanced office tasks and/or gaming under decent conditions. If you want to push multitasking to the limit, it may be limiting!
Cons
- •The RTX 3000 series was released in 2020 and is therefore no longer very current. Unless you find a really great price, we recommend at least getting a more recent GPU model.
- •If you have a very tight budget and are only doing simple office work (Excel, Word, internet browsing, etc.), this may be sufficient. However, we recommend looking for at least 16GB of RAM to be comfortable and multitask. Oh, and if you are gaming, forget it!!
- •500GB is the strict minimum in our opinion to ensure sufficient storage capacity for a few years. If you are a heavy gamer or store a lot of photos/videos/large files, we recommend getting a larger one or even considering an external hard drive/SSD.
- •The problem with 120Hz is that it's too little, in our opinion, for gaming and too much for office work. We struggle to see the point of this frequency, but if you have a good deal on it, why not!
- •Processor generation from AMD released in Q1 2021 and is now becoming very old! We advise against going for this as you can easily be limited in performance. The only case to consider is if you have a very tight budget!
